Thank God we're not American

Bullshit Merchants

We will have one more year than them to prepare for this monstrosity of invention...

How come TV is dead? How can they possibly have less viewers when the number of people watching telly goes up all the time? Have they started counting cars as a place you can watch TV, is that where this 25% drop comes from? Really? Bit lethal dontcha think, watching TV while you try to drive?

As a member of the 'younger generation' I am outraged that they think I think I need this service. Any decent self-respecting teenager knows how to get live TV on their laptop/iPhone so why make a whole new gizmo for it? Oh Yes, money.

Well maybe checking whether those 'younger generations' were up to speed with you on how much they want and need this stupid invention; would have served well in the budgeting process: eg. you could have forgotten all about it and moved on.

Noone is going to pay for this thing if they can get it for free elsewhere. Why not just make the websites that stream your TV legal? The only people likely to have a problem with that is BBC. Who have a brilliant and highly-used catchup service. As do most channels in fact.

So if you really are SO desperate to watch that show, but oh no you have to, say, pick up the kids from school, why watch it in the car when you can watch it later in the comfort of your home? Anyone willing to risk crashing their car to watch a TV show deserves a late abortion. As does whoever came up with this bullpoo.

In other news, TV is now on youtube, full-length shows are ready-buffered for you and it works a treat. Need another gizmo? No! You already have the simplest, most familiar way to get your TV fix. Has made 4OD's old website completely redundant but it was pretty shite anyway. Enjoy the simplest TV in the world: http://www.youtube.com/4oD
